It sucks big time when you don’t have internet/wifi connection for the past four months . It sucks bad when your mobile device is not working . It sucks real bad when you don’t have access to Facebook , Twitter , or Tumblr to vent or comment your feelings towards something in the world that just happened such as the murder rate in your hometown of thirty two years that went sky high this year , the London riots , the infamous Daughtry Gang ( actually siblings ) , Casey Anthony’s verdict , or even hearing of another episode of House where our ( anti ) hero goes to jail ( yes , yes , what he did to Cuddy’s home , he deserved hard time for it , but couldn’t the car crash just be a jump the shark dream , where House wakes up in the hospital with either Cuddy or Wilson by his side telling him the bad leg is finally cut off ? ) . I am volunteering for the Edmonton Fringe Festival this year and I will around the site quite a bit for the next seven days , as there is a free internet cafe I can have access to , if for a limited time , so I can keep up with my social networking and browse the web , there might be an blog from me on Tumblr if there is something on the news or gossip sites that piques my interest , for now , I am signing off .
Still no internet connection for three months and now my mobile device ( iPod Touch ) has gone wonky that I had to erase all content and settings and may have to start again and download iTunes again , but in my current situation , I can’t . I have a wireless network adapter and can not afford a good modem or router , plus I can only get an unsecured wifi connection , both on my computer and mobile device , and as of late , I haven’t been getting it lately , except until yesterday ,the iPod . This situation sucks , but I am holding on to a hope that a working unsecured network connection will come to my computer and I can do all the blogging , micro-blogging , web browsing , and downloading I want , but for now , it looks like my visits to the world wide web will be on a weekly basis , either through an internet cafe or the public library . As a postscript before I sign off for now , I am suppose to be getting some money this year , a few thousand bucks , but not that much , but hopefully enough to buy a really good laptop with wifi and / or a tablet ( the laptop mainly for home , the tablet for when I’m out ).
